As I prepare to begin filming the River Duddon from source to sea I share a poem by William Wordsworth who was also hugely inspired by the landscape here.

Jason follows his lifelong vocation as a countryside photographer who tries to catch the spirit of the places he visits. After decades working as a professional editorial photographer he now focuses much of his time on conceptual fine art photography, visual storytelling and in aiding others to follow their creative calling.
Only just found this, Jason and I loved the scenery and Wordsworth’s words. I haven’t been to that part of the Lake District; just Hawkshead, Grasmere and Coniston. I went for a week on my own both last year and this year with next year already booked. I loved walking in the countryside on my own; so peaceful and relaxing. Wordsworth is my favourite poet and has been since I studied him for my O’ Levels in 1978. 🙂🌿
