As I arrive on Mull I share a poem by Percy Bische Shelley - The Woodman and the Nightingale. And I gave my offering off fresh blood to the Scottish Midges in the process!

  • This is great Jason, how lucky are we, to see the lock and you sharing your images and reading poetry. Thank you, sleep well.

  • Welcome back to Scotland Jason. Lovely to see you in Glen Coe earlier. Thank you for the poem tonight and hope you sleep well in the good air of Mull…

  • What an absolute treat, the images, the poetry and the ‘being there’ too. So enjoying this already ☺️ sleep well, Jason, safely held by all the nature spirits around you

  • Oh this is just wonderful, as an armchair traveller these days I cannot think of a better place to be than in your company at the Lochside and being read to so beautifully as I drink my morning cuppa, (midge free to boot 😂). Bless you 🙏

    • This is great to hear Michelle, thank you. It’s so peaceful and quiet here this morning. I had to navigate my way through wandering Hedgehogs and sleepy lambs as I drove. And then the big bull by the beach!

  • Poetic pause with a beautiful backdrop. A great reminder to stop and pause no matter how busy we are we just need a gentle nudge to remind ourselves of the stunning nature and wildlife we are fortunate to have. Beautifully read and thank you for sharing.

  • Such glorious language and beautifully read Jason. Really loving these snippets of peace and tranquility from Mull and your fabulous images. Hope the midges leave you alone 👍

  • Hey Jason just to say I have really enjoyed following your trip to Mull – loved all the photography and poetry . Thankyou 👍
