The Willows of Beltane

Jason // May 1 // 3 Comments

Willow limbs lie waiting in the Beltane light
Smooth and strong as riverside tales
Catching the Kiss of twilight’s dance
On their glowing edges
Secrets nestle between these limbs
of willow talk and Beltane tussle
Buds of spring await their sun
atop these willow limbs
Eager for the flow
ready to welcome in the rampant
charge of Beltane’s new blood

  • Lovely. I have a small willow in my garden – I love it’s curly leaves and greenness. You have captured both. Thanks.

    • Thank you Brenda. It was a beautiful morning. Glad you’re enjoying Earthlight, I thought you might. 🙂
