Romancing the Land
A free Earthlight online gathering to explore the value and practice of deep nature connection.
7pm (UK time) 13th February 2026
Simple and Easy? Yes I believe it should be.
Reclaiming your relationship with nature is a homecoming.
Our busy way of life can keep us divorced and separated from the world around us as we fill every moment with responsibilities in service to others, or our job. As a result we don't live the life we know we could. Stress, loss of focus and a lack of attention afflict us as we lose our connection with nature and our deeper self.
The land suffers too. Nature needs you. She needs you to attend to her, gently and with an open heart. The natural world is waiting patiently for you to reclaim you relationship with her, your birthright, and has medicine for you.

Your Invitation
Romancing the Land is my offering to you, a free online event of photos, films, poetry and stories to enchant both you and the nature around you. On the night before Valentine's Day join me and fall a little more in love with the land, and let nature soothe you, heart and soul.
Ninety minutes of deep nature connection through story, photo and film. I'm looking forward to sharing the foundations of a lifelong link that you can develop with your land, your nature, your place wherever that may be.
Since childhood I've known the importance of sharing nature's insights and beauty and feel that my life as a nature photographer, writer and film maker has been building up to this...
After we've enjoyed a little virtual time together enjoying the beauty of nature I'll invite you to stick around a while as I share my passion project, Becoming Nature.
In the meantime here's a fun little movie I created a while ago to introduce Earthlight to the world.
Join me online for an inspirational, insightful and intriguing evening where poetry, film and tales of the land long to take you by the hand and call you home.
Come, romance the land with me.

You don't need to live in the countryside to develop a relationship with the land. It's even possible to find a connection with nature through the media of prose and film. What matters is that you are interested, curious and willing to turn your attention to nature's ways and explore a more connected way of being an authentic human.
The event will be held via Zoom and your link will be emailed to you soon after you register with the replay link following on the 14th of February. Should you have any issues joining on the night please contact Tina before 6:40pm and to ensure an easy experience please do try to join a few minutes before 7pm.
Jason has been a lifelong nature photographer and writer. Having worked with many of the major nature and countryside publications for most of his life he decided to carve his own path and devise a way to reach a more connected audience. Earthlight has become that way.
Using state of the art equipment and a deep knowledge of nature he brings to life the land in which he wanders, sharing it by means of prose, poetry, photo and film.
