Forest bathing

Jason // July 1 // 0 Comments

All night I grappled and wrangled with beings greater than myself and saw the light of dawn rise from the forest.

A shrill light, tinged with the song of fox and the dance of badger.

The twilit stride of the morning sun rose and ventured across the blueing sky as the pinks of a new day gave way.

This time I saw things anew.

A forest of bathing stars lit by the Earthlight below, adance with a gleam of Larch and Pine.

Soulful words that rose and fell with the blackening of the Elderberry.

This too is me, this one small being, being constantly beaten by a world of impossible mentors:

Ant, Slowworm, Beetle, Oak, River, Root and Wren

All having their way with me.
