Devil’s Kitchen trial monochrome

My initial trip to commence my latest project went off successfully despite the awful weather. Well, let me rephrase that... without the rain it wouldn't have been anything like as interesting. The inclement weather spared me from 'blue sky fatigue' and gifted me some powerful images which will be revealed once the whole project is complete. However I will drip the odd shot or two out in these updates.

This shot, one of my favourites was taken as I reached the closest to Devil's Kitchen that I could at the time, weighed down as I was by a huge backpack and carrying a substantial tripod in one hand. I didn't want to risk having to call Mountain Rescue so I gave up my ascent some 30 yards from the chasm.

I've been asked to make this shot available as a print so I'll do that just as soon as I've put the shop structure in place.
