Cruden Bay Deep Dive

It's time for another Deep Dive! This time to the far north east of Scotland. I first visited this area about 25 to 30 years ago on a travel shoot for Woman and Home magazine and spent 3 days wandering the wild windswept coast as storm ravaged and roared around me.

That was way back in the time of film and I only have a couple of scans to show for it which I share below. As I contemplate this shoot I feel a mixture of excitement and nerves as I review my memories. The coast is rugged and the land is unforgiving. With some care I will bring back the story of this primordial landscape, although it probably won't be covered in snow as it was during my last trip some 15 years ago!
