Catching the Cosmos

Jason // October 24 // 15 Comments

Caught in the gossamer threads of dawn the universe paused
A spindrift veil sparkled across the grassy canvas
Whole worlds and realms shimmered in the shadows
Weaving secrets of ephemeral beauty with the spinners of the night
A tangerine sun shone within tangles of glimmer
Waiting for golden rays of light to take it back home
The cosmos caught for a few still moments
as spiders wait to rebuild.

  • You have inspired me – I will get out after the rain and see the beauty in cobwebs too. I’ve had some very large spiders in my garden hedge – they are fascinating. Thanks for sharing

  • Just breathtakingly beautiful, I lose myself in the beauty of both images and words….. they speak to my very soul. The first one…. a gossamer hammock to climb inside. I would make myself small if I could, to be part of this enchanted world. Stunning.

  • Absolutely stunning, Jason. The way you have captured the light is entrancing. Honestly, I’m not a fan of spiders but those shimmering diamond threads are extraordinary and I have to admire their artistry…and yours!
