30 Days of Wild Writing – 5

Green Man Language.

Pond slime, buckets of it.

Green, ish, yellow, brown, faecal stink, foetal wink, shallow-deep.

Thrusting cock, deep smock, making the fun, masking pun.

Sallow leaf and lallow moss.

Creeping crepuscular caterpillar floss.

Itch and witch and watery ditch.

Pitch.

Dark and velvet soft.

Crawl, lichen shawled, beetle braced and ant mauled.

Tender teeth and slender teats.

Rot and dot and dying spot.

And rust to dust to crust and must.

Umbilical clawings to a new dusk.
